MARKET RESEARCHES RUŽEVIČIUS J. The systems and tools of socially responsible and sustainable business: national and international context
Abstract
The article presents the results of the application research of the development of the systems and tools of socially responsible and sustainable business in national and international contexts. There have been disclosed the content, the peculiarities, practice and possible use of introduction of the systems mentioned above at the enterprises, their interrelations with other management systems. The indicators of ecological footprint as one of the most roundup indicators of national and international sustainable development have been analyzed. The following generalization has been made: comparative assessment of some countries according to absolute indicators of the number of management systems of sustainable growth and socially responsible business is not informative enough. In order to present more objective comparison of environmental achievements of different countries of the world there has been offered to use the relative index – the number of introduced systems and tools of environment management per 1 mln of population of the country.
